Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for Students

Student VDIs have been setup so students can access their course software from any location.

They are called "Student-Desktop", "Student-Specialized" and "Student-Visual Studio".

• The Student-Specialized desktop is reserved for students that need access to the software listed on that VDI.
• All other students should use the Student-Desktop and Student-Visual Studio VDIs. 
• Please remember to log off the VDI when not in use.

How to use the VDI:

• From a web browser go to:  view.farmingdale.edu
• You can either use the VDI directly in your browser by clicking on "VMware Horizon HTML Access"
  OR
  You can select "Click Here to Download VMware Horizon Client".  You can then download the latest VMware Horizon Client for Windows, Mac, iOS, Linux, Chrome and/or Android.
