Steps for setting up the Microsoft Authenticator App

Step 1 - On Computer or other device:

  1. Go to https://farmingdale.edu/mfaenroll
  2. Click Add sign-in method​​​​​


     
  3. Choose Authenticator App


     
  4. Follow instructions on the screen
  5. When the QR code appears on your screen, stop and continue to Step 2.

Step 2 - On your Phone:

  1. Install the Microsoft Authenticator app from Google Play Store or the Apple Store 
  2. The app icon is a blue lock with a person icon inside: Microsoft Authenticator App icon
  3. Tap the + in the top right corner
  4. Choose Work or School account
  5. Select Scan QR Code
  6. Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on your computer
  7. Follow the remaining prompts on both devices to complete setup and link the app to your Farmingdale email account.
