Clear Browser Cache

How to clear the cache in Chrome, Firefox, Edge & Safari.

Try clearing the cache/cookies in your web browser with the below steps (note these steps are for modern browser updates as of 2024 for Windows/MacOS/Linux devices):

Google Chrome:

  1. Click the menu button in top right (3 vertical dots)
  2. Choose "Clear browsing data"
  3. Check the boxes that mention Cookies and/or Cache (can uncheck other boxes)
  4. Set Time Range to "All Time"
  5. Click "Clear Data"
  6. Wait for loading animation to finish
  7. Close and reopen Chrome

Firefox:

  1. Click the menu button in top right (3 vertical lines)
  2. Choose History > Choose "Clear Recent History"
  3. Check the boxes that mention Cookies and/or Cache (can uncheck other boxes)
  4. "Set Time Range to clear" to "Everything"
  5. Click "Clear now"
  6. Wait for loading animation to finish
  7. Close and reopen Firefox

Safari:

  1. Click the "Safari" button on the top menu bar
  2. Choose "Clear History"
  3. Make sure "Clear" is set to "All History"
  4. Click "Clear History"
  5. Close and reopen Safari

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the menu button in top right (3 horizontal dots/ellipsis)
  2. Choose Settings
  3. On the left, select "Privacy, search, and services"
  4. Under the "Clear browsing data" section, click Choose what to clear
  5. Check the boxes that mention Cookies and/or Cache (can uncheck other boxes)
  6. Set Time Range to "All Time”
  7. Click "Clear now"
  8. Wait for loading animation to finish
  9. Close and reopen Edge
